The term Altitude Sickness is used often but there are in fact 3 types of Altitude Sickness. The most common is actually Acute Mountain Sickness – or AMS for short. And we will be up to 3600m in Langtang Village and has a good chance of being suffered from AMS.

Langtang Lirung Himal Trek
Mount Lirung is another beautiful mountain (called Himal in Nepali) which elevates about 7234m. People prefer trekking in this mountain. Basically, Lirung Himal is a mountain range which includes Mt. Langtang Lirung, Mt. Dorje Lakpa and more above 6000m.
Langtang National Park
National Park provides the taste of various climatic zones as 25% of the park is a forest. Hence, you will be able to encounter flora like pine, oak, maple, rhododendron and more. You will be more pleased to see fauna like Himalayan Thar, Red Panda, Rhesus Monkey and sightings of Yeti. Langtang Trek Permits
Trekking in any part of Nepal requires a permit to keep you track for social and your personal care. So, you need 3 permits for this Trek: TIMS ( Tourist Information Management System) Card which costs about $20, National Park Entry Fee which costs about $30 and Shivapuri National Park Entry which costs $5.
